OA Group and the Charis Foundation have partnered with Barna Group to bring the Barna Cities Initiative to Nashville for a “State of Nashville” research project. This site has been created to share information with stakeholders about the project, and you can see this FAQ page for some additional information about the project.

Over 200 pastors and other Christian leaders convened February 23, 2023 at GEODIS Park for a live presentation led by Savannah Kimberlin,  Associate Vice President of Church Engagement at Barna, and Adam Buzard, Director of OA Group’s United4Pastors program.   That event was not recorded but separately Savannah and Adam hosted a webinar presentation of this data, which is available on the Resources page here along with other materials summarizing key research findings.

Since the time of this research OA Group, the Charis Foundation and other local partners have collaborated to launch Together Nashville, which among other activities will continue to sponsor or research about the city and church of Nashville.
